FLUX is a student design studio that provides design services for community and campus-based organizations from initial concept meetings through to final delivery.
Why work with us?
Collaborating with FLUX design studio is an affordable way for community members to work with local designers.
About our Process
After you fill out the application we will contact you to set up a meeting. We will discuss the project, your design needs, and our approach. If we both agree it’s a good fit, together we will draft a design brief that outlines the intention, scope, timeline, and deliverables of the project. Upon approval of the brief, the work begins!
Project selection is based upon classroom/studio capabilities, time frame, client objectives, and the creative problem-solving aspect of the project. FLUX is primarily an educational enterprise; therefore, the work must be challenging and further the education of the participating students. Projects that primarily require production will have a low priority for selection.
We offer a discount of 35% for non-profits and 10% for startups. All projects have a base price of $350.
